High Temperature, Heat & Flame Resistant Silicone Rubber Coated
Fiberglass (fibreglass / glassfibre) Sleeve for Primary Insulation of
Wiring and Cables. Small Diameter Wiring
Thinwall precision firesleeve
This thin-wall high temperature, heat and flame resistant firesleeve (sometimes spelled fire sleeve or fire-sleeve or fyresleeve) is the perfect choice for protecting small diameter pneumatic lines, fuel & oil lines, brake lines, wires and cables from exposure to high and extreme heat conditions. The thin-wall fiberglass (fibreglass / glassfibre) substrate and smooth silicone rubber on this firesleeve sheds molten metals, slag, welding splatter, electrical or grinding sparks and contamination. Also provides protection from ozone, UV and abrasion.
The standard colour is red-oxide or black.
Available in 6 wall thicknesses for electrical dielectric strength of 2kV to over 10kV. UL 1441 / CSA C22.22 listed. May also be used for hose protection.
Silicone Rubber Coated Fiberglass (fibreglass / glassfibre) Sleeve Withstands Molten Splash & Welding Splatter. Withstands 500°F / 260°C continuous exposure; 2200°F / 1205°C for periods up to 15 minutes and short flash excursions to 3000°F / 1650°C.
Molten metals simply slide off of the extra heavy duty coating of High-Temperature Silicone Rubber on all of these products (firesleeve), providing excellent burn-through protection.
